Get answers to common questions about 3/4 Legs Wax (Men's).
Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair cycle and lifestyle. With regular appointments regrowth can become finer and slower, extending intervals and improving long-term results with consistent aftercare and exfoliation.
Discomfort varies; many report brief moderate twinges that fade quickly. Our technicians use expert technique, pre-warm wax and calming products to reduce pain. Numbing creams can be discussed for particularly sensitive clients or first-time appointments.
Trim to about a quarter-inch of hair for best results; too short hair may not grip well. Avoid heavy exfoliation, tanning or topical retinoids 48 hours before. Arrive clean and hydrated to help reduce irritation.
Post-care matters: avoid hot baths, saunas and heavy workouts for 24 hours. Apply soothing, alcohol-free moisturizers and avoid direct sun for 48 hours. Gentle exfoliation after 48–72 hours prevents ingrown hairs and promotes smoother regrowth.
Yes in most cases; we offer patch tests and gentle formulas for sensitive skin. Discuss allergies, medications or active skin conditions during booking. If skin is inflamed, broken or infected we will postpone treatment until healed.
Aim for about 1/4 inch (6 mm) of hair so the wax can properly adhere. Shorter than that may be missed; longer hair is okay but may increase discomfort. We can trim prior to waxing if needed.
