Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (approximately 6mm) long so the wax can grip. If shorter, we may ask you to wait for regrowth; very long hair can be trimmed for comfort before waxing.

Some redness or mild sensitivity is normal for a few hours; our technicians apply calming products after waxing. Avoid hot showers, saunas, or intense exercise for 24 hours to help reduce irritation and promote faster recovery.

Most clients return every four to six weeks depending on their hair growth and desired smoothness. Regular waxing weakens regrowth, so consistent appointments can lengthen intervals and improve overall results over time.

Waxing causes a brief sting as hair is removed from the root, usually more intense than shaving but short-lived. Many clients find discomfort decreases with repeat sessions as hair becomes finer and less dense.

Certain conditions like active skin infections, open wounds, recent sunburn, varicose veins, or use of specific medications may contraindicate waxing. Tell your technician about medications and skin issues during booking to determine safe options or alternatives.
